Weight loss is a complicated issue because human evolution, psychology and physiology is complex. It can be further complicated by the news outlets, magazines, books, social media and people you know all giving differing advice.
What or who are you to believe?
Weight loss can be boiled down to a fairly simple principal that you have heard before but just isn’t that exciting to believe.
Ultimately it comes down to energy (calories) being consumed vs. your body’s need for energy. If you regularly consume more energy than your body needs then your body will start to store it as fat. If you regularly consume less energy than your body needs then your body will ultimately go to your fat stores to make up the deficit and you begin to lose weight.
